About Me

I started this blog in May of 2015 to share my work and to motivate me to paint. Can't believe seven years have passed. I am still painting. Enjoying every minute of it. The challenge in painting, for me, is to not let the idea of making a nice picture get in the way of the experience of painting.Quick facts: I've painted since I was a kid. I earned a BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1995. I raised a family and spent many years as a critical care nurse. I am at the point in my life when it's all about me. Hooray!
